You know actually, returning to these again at the end of the week, it's pretty easy for me to read them all as a bit sinister...the presence of the hacksaw. Bizarro stuffed animal pileup. The way Lincoln seems to be making eye contact with the tipped over monkey. Cat about to extend her claws to grip the quilt, surprised by the flash. (well maybe that wasn't what was going on, but the blown-out paw is really striking and strange). I dunno, maybe it's just me. But I wonder about the secrets in them.
